Joints - 1 day
This one day course has been created for those wishing to learn how to cut some of the most commonly used woodworking joints, primarily using hand tools but also covering the use of power tools.
The course will give valuable experience in measuring, marking out and the principle techniques in the use of bench saws and chisels.
You will have the opportunity to cut samples of your own to take away for future reference.
Joints will include:
dowel
biscuit
housing
halving and lap
mortice & tenon (wedged and pegged)
bridle
mitre
Timber: Redwood
Duration: 9.00am to 4.00pm
No previous experience of woodworking is required and all tools and materials will be provided.
